Is it expensive to live in Brentwood, CA?

I don’t live in the US so I have no idea which city/district is the most expensive piece of real estate in the US. Brentwood looks like such a beautiful place to live in but all I see on the internet is huge houses of "the high class". So I wondered, is Brentwood that expensive? What are your opinions?

(Please excuse my poor English.)

I live in Brighton and not much is decorated. There is a pretty tree on the Boston College campus and I saw that. I was just wondering what some good areas would be to drive around and see Christmas lights on houses. Thanks.

How does buying repossesed houses and selling them work?

I’ve seen the commercials and I want to actually try it out if it isn’t illegal of course. I mean the buying of government repossesed houses and property and paying off the tax they owe. Then repairing them and selling them back. How does this work? Thanks!
