I am getting a boxer puppy and was wondering what apartments ask for when paying a pet deposit, like the dog itself or papers or something. My apartment has weight/breed restrictions that I’m afraid the boxer may fall into, but I have seen pit bulls and other massive dogs, so does that mean they didn’t pay a deposit?
I am on a variable rate due to commercial rentals, which are on the property where my residence is. The 14 acres is divided into 4 tracts. And my residence is on one tract with 1 rental cottage. How can I separate them so that I do not go under trying to pay an increasing variable interest rate?

I’m in high school now, and I’m considering going to NYU or Eugene Lang for a communication degree, and then working for a magazine/newspaper as a writer. I know how to get through college with meal plans and savings and stuff, but after that I’ll get an entry level job and be earning about k. From what I hear, rent for a studio starts over 00 a month, and there’s other expenses on top of that. I’m sure that thousands of other young professionals do this and do fine, but I’m having trouble understanding the logistics of it. Can anyone explain? Thanks!

I’m trying to find low income apartments so that I can move out of my parents house. Some of these apartments are in not so nice parts of town. So I was wondering in people who rent can get alarm systems installed in their apartments, or is this only for people who own homes?
I notice ads for photography lofts/studios where the owners offer studio rentals by the hour. How does it work? Do you have access to equipment like backgrounds, props, lights (skylights, strobes?), reflectors, etc?. Or do you bring your own set up, for example, a studio strobe set up? Is there usually someone around to supervisor help. What about insurance issues? Are you responsible for damages? Finally, how do you go about finding spaces for rent in your area — mine is Washington, DC, Balt., Philadelphia.
I have heard of billionaires that made their money from renting apartments. Can someone give me a rundown of how they did it? How did they start off and how many apartments do you think they own? And how much did every apartment might have cost to buy? Can anyone get into this business if they have a good job and work hard on it?
It seems more and more individuals would be paying cheaper rent right? More houses that are in foreclosure etc, could be turned into rental properties, or rooms that are for rent?
