LYING IN THE SUN

Two tramps, Eugene and Sergio, were lying in the sun.

EUGENE: (1) What (we/doing) if the sun (not shining)?

SERGIO: Well,(2) (we/not be) lying here for a start. But that’s not the important question. The important question is: (3)what (we do) if (we/be) rich?

EUGENE: (4) If (we/be) rich, we (can/travel) everywhere.

SERGIO: True, but we travel everywhere already.

EUGENE: Yes, but not in style.(5) If (we/have) money, our chauffeur, James, (can/drive) us round in our Rolls. Imagine,(6) if (we/be) in that position!(7) (We/return) to our fine mansion in the country.

SERGIO: Yes, the butler (8)(put out) fresh clothes for us, the cook (prepare) a fine meal for us. We (9) not just be eating carrots all the time.

EUGENE: Yes, If (10)(we/own) a house like that, (we/also have) a fine swimming pool.

SERGIO: Yes! Yes! If(11) (we/have) a fine swimming pool, (we can/swim) as much as we liked.

EUGENE: If (12)(we/be) really really rich, (we can/lie) in the sun!

handyman not getting paid?

I am a handyman in Eugene Oregon. A month ago I did some work on a house. I discussed with the owner my hourly rate and how much it would cost him to fix the things he wanted to fix. After work is done, I sent him a bill, but he refuses to pay for all the work I did. Can I sue him or put a mechanic’s lien on his house even though I don’t have a contractor license?

Which season and episode of The Practice features the man who stalked Lindsey?

I just got every episode of The Practice (ABC drama, Bobby, Jimmy, Eugene, etc…) and I wanted to watch the episode where the creepy guy stalks Lindsey. I recall her running into him as he’s driving a taxi. He shows up at Lindsey and Bobby’s house. Any idea which season and episode, or where I can get the info?

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
David

I was outside in my bikini, and my neighbor started trouble. What should I do?

So I’ve had twins not too long ago, and I still have, like, a bunch of weight and a floppy stomach covered in stretch marks, but you know what?? I am NOT ashamed of my body! I am PROUD of who I am and what I got, cause it brings all the the boys to the yard, especially when I wear my cotton candy body spray that I got from Wal-Mart. Mmhmm, so don’t even go there, because I’m still young and fresh, so step back! (I am so sorry, I’m not mad at you guys, I just had to rant to release some of my frustration.)

Anyway, so I was outside with the kids wearing my new bikini, getting some sunshine to get rid of my winter shade, when out comes my neighbor (the same one who smeared the fudgscicle in my face.) We was looking at me, and both him and his son Eugene were giving my the dirtiest looks! And I was like, "WHAT?" And the dad was like, "Can’t you put something on, no one wants to see that!" And I was like, "Bite me!" So he whispered in Eugene’s ear, then Eugene ran in the house.

Eugene came running out with his pet hamster, put the hamster on the ground, pulled out one of my socks (yeah, I have no idea how he got my sock!) and let the hamster sniff my sock. Eugene then said, "Pluto! Charge!" So this hamster starts screeching and is running around sniffing like crazy, then I guess he picks up my scent and starts charging right at me, chomping his little teeth while screeching!

So I panick and call Fruity, my parrot, and he comes flying out of the house and swoops down and picks up the hamster and flys off. Well, you can only imagine what happened. Eugene threw a fight, and his dad tried to spit in my lawn, but he missed and it landed on his foot, so he started to throw a fit too! He said he was going to sue.

Was it really my fault? What should I do?
